What We Do
GLASS RECYCLED SURFACES turns glass bottles and discarded porcelain fixtures into beauty. Instead of mounting in a landfill for thousands of years, we turn post-consumer and industrial glass into gorgeous countertops, fabulous flooring and landscape materials. By mixing crushed glass with an epoxy resin, we’ve created over 400+ sparkling terrazzo designs. If you can’t find one that matches your home or office, you can create your own custom design, based on color, size and finish.
How We Do It
The art of traditional terrazzo is difficult, costly and not very friendly to the environment. But with our techniques, we’re “upcycling” glass that’s headed to landfills. In other words, we’re turning “trash glass” into useful products.
Closing The Loop
Besides our line of countertops, flooring and landscaping, we also help companies turn their own glass into new products that they can actually sell. Our goal is to create a “closed loop” of recycled glass, where glass continues to be reused and recycled without ever reaching a landfill. So if you have glass waste and aren’t sure what to do with it, contact us first. We’ll educate you on how you can actually create products that are both business and environment-friendly. That pile of trash may just be your next big success.
What Makes Us Different
Most of our competitors combine glass with cement to create their terrazzo. We use an unique epoxy resin that’s far superior. In fact, we hold a patent on the process. Cement has limited color choices, is heavier than epoxy and creates a structural weakness when combined with glass.
GlassEPOXY advantages over cement:
- GlassEPOXY has virtually endless color possibilities
- GlassEPOXY is much lighter in weight compared to cement
- GlassEPOXY maintains the structural integrity of the glass terrazzo.
GLASS RECYCLED SURFACES is the only recycled glass and porcelain ‘Up-Cycling’ Manufacturer in the world that can customize the color of resin and the choice of glass and or porcelain.
